How to study an NCERT chapter in Shiksha Bharat

Classes 6 to 8 chapters open as interactive scenes; Classes 9 to 12 chapters link the animations that teach them. Here is how to use each.

Every chapter in Shiksha Bharat follows your NCERT textbook, in the same order, so you always know where you are in the syllabus. How a chapter opens depends on your class.

Classes 6 to 8: scenes first

  1. Open the chapter and start with Scenes. Each chapter has 3 to 5 hands-on scenes, and every scene gives you a small mission.
  2. Read the key ideas and key terms in Notes once the scenes make sense.
  3. Take the chapter quiz. Your best score earns up to three stars.

Classes 9 to 12: animations for each chapter

  1. Open the chapter to see the animations that teach it.
  2. Play each animation and follow its steps. Pause, scrub and slow it down wherever you need.
  3. Answer the questions after each animation, and read why each answer is right.
